4/15/2009 Rogue/Riskware BraveSentry Dishonest antivirus software which tricks users into buying or installing it, usually by infecting a user's computer, or by pretending the computer is infected. BraveSentry is a rogue antivirus program that reports fake scanning results to the user in order to dupe them into purchasing the "professional" version of the product. It indicates that the user "shuld purchase a license" to remove any threats found.

When active, Bestofer contacts one of the "Best Offer Networks" servers to retrieve advertising content to display. This program delivers advertising content to the user. It is usually annoying but harmless, unless it is combined with spyware or trackware.
